In Shady Dale the first question is not what broke but who supplies the house. Because the official city-limits map on file with state and federal agencies is known to be off, an online map is a poor guide. The water bill is the better one: a town account means a meter at the road, and no water bill at all points to a well somewhere on the property.↗

Georgia's septic rules keep the tank at least 10 feet from a pressure water line and require a line crossing the field to ride 12 inches above the gravel inside a sleeve.
