Not in the River Corridor. Newton's overlay allows a tank inside that buffer but bars the drain field from it.

Can a clogged field just be cleaned?
Sometimes. If roots or solids fill the pipes but the soil still takes water, line cleaning can work; Angi's range is $600 to $1,100. Sealed clay usually means new trenches.
How long is a GNR repair permit good for?
Twelve months from issue. Plan the work within that window or the process starts over.
