The city pumps much of its own from a spring on Davis Lake Road and wells at Warren Holder Park and Strong Rock Parkway, then stores it in tanks around town. Can I get a credit for water lost to a leak?
The city takes leak adjustment requests. The form asks where the leak was and for a receipt of the repair, so keep our invoice. Whether a credit is granted is up to the city.
Why did my sewer charge go up with my water leak?
Because Locust Grove bills sewer on 100% of metered water use. Water leaking into the yard still runs through the meter, so both charges rise until the line is fixed.
