Should every compartment be pumped?
Yes. The DPH Manual's septage section calls for removal through each compartment's lid. Pumping only the outlet side leaves sludge behind.
What paperwork should I get afterward?
A written note on the tank's condition, including missing or damaged tees. Georgia requires the pumper to provide it and copy the county.
Who inspects pump trucks?
The county health office. Walton charges $200 for a pump truck inspection and Gwinnett's schedule lists $155.
