Can I extend sewer to a lot that doesn't have it yet?
Yes, at the customer's cost: Union City charges the customer for the line needed to serve a property beyond the existing sewer, and pays only the extra material cost if it chooses to upsize the pipe (Sec. 15-199(l)–(m)).
